Digital Collaboratory for Cultural Dendrochronology (DCCD)
A digital data library for dendrochronology

The DCCD is a joint effort of:

• The Cultural Heritage Agency (Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed) of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW)
• Digital Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO)
• Utrecht University, Faculty of Geosciences.

The content of the DCCD is provided by tree-ring laboratories of the following organizations:

• Stichting RING Nederlands Centrum voor Dendrochronologie (RING Foundation)
• Onderzoeksbureau Bouwhistorie, Architectuur- en Cultuurhistorie (BAAC BV)
• Forest Ecology and Forest Management Group, WAU
• Centre Europeen d'Archeometrie, Univ. Luik (B)
• The Flemish Heritage Institute (VIOE)
• The Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (IRPAKIK)
• Centre de Recherche et de Restauration des Musees de France
• Dendronet
• Pressler GmbH Planung und Bauforschung

The Malcolm and Carolyn Wiener Laboratory for Aegean and Near Eastern Dendrochronology (Cornell University) contributes to the development of a digital data standard and data conversion utilities.
