Using TRiDaBASE: FAQs

In order to facilitate the switch to TRiDaS, a stand-alone database is made available through this DCCD website to all who wish to store detailed dendrochronological research information (metadata). The TRiDaS database reads TRiDaS XML, so that information downloaded from
the DCCD repository becomes locally available for analysis. The database also allows export of its content to TRiDaS XML, for ingestion by the DCCD repository and/or exchange of data, metadata and controlled vocabularies within research networks.

Download TRiDaBASE v1.1 (please consult the FAQs when you have questions).

For users already using TRiDaBASE (the files below only contain the database functionality):

Download TRiDaBASE v1.1 update files:
(Just overwrite the orginal 'TRiDaBASE.mdb' with this updated file!)

• TRiDaBASE v1.1. Dutch update (version April 27th 2011)
• TRiDaBASE v1.1. English update (version April 27th 2011)
• TRiDaBASE v1.1. French update (version April 27th 2011)
• TRiDaBASE v1.1. German update (version April 27th 2011)

For new users (the files below contain both the database and the empty content part of TRiDaBASE):
